Dunnock and Yellowhammer

A not-so-quick walk with a dying camera battery revealed some good moments! They are a little on the dark side due to it being a little on the late side for photography but here we have a dunnock, something we eventually identified as a juvenile or maybe female yellowhammer as well as a mighty goldfinch. On the same walk I noticed a strange tree full of “keys” - those winged seeds - and was quickly taught how to identify an Ash in spring
